About Sonovi

Strength Training Built on Nervous System Regulation

What is Sonovi

Sonovi is a private training gym for individuals who have trained hard but reached a point where pushing more stopped working.

Instead of relying on constant intensity, we work with the nervous system to restore stability, efficiency, and resilience.

When the system behind movement is regulated, strength progresses without burnout, pain decreases, and training becomes sustainable again.

A diverse group of trainers and clients stand together barefoot in a relaxed line against a dark, studio-lit background, smiling and leaning into one another, conveying community, trust, and shared commitment to training.

Who We Are

Karlla Rocha
Founder, Sonovi

I don’t train bodies, I coach how people adapt under stress.

I’m Karlla Rocha, founder of Sonovi, with over a decade of experience in evidence-based training and human performance. My work is informed by exercise science and refined through years of coaching both experienced trainees and those new to fitness who were showing up, trying to improve, and still feeling stuck, depleted, or inconsistent.

At Sonovi, I integrate strength training, functional movement, breathwork, stillness, and nervous system awareness into a single, cohesive method. The aim isn’t intensity for its own sake, but helping the body organize, recover, and perform reliably under pressure.

I call this approach Work In While You Work Out.

When the nervous system is supported, progress becomes sustainable, not fragile.

Work In While You Work Out

In practice, this means breath, posture, tempo, and awareness are coached alongside load and movement. Sessions may appear calm from the outside, but internally the nervous system is learning to stay present under stress so strength becomes repeatable rather than draining.

Presence

Calm, clarity, and grounded energy during training

Clients often report clearer thinking, steadier breathing, and less unnecessary tension during training. Strength work becomes focused and controlled rather than rushed or overwhelming.

Consistency

Training habits designed to last

Training stops cycling between motivation and burnout. Progress becomes steadier, more predictable, and easier to maintain because the body is no longer constantly overloaded.

Awareness

Understanding how stress, movement, and recovery connect

Clients develop a clearer understanding of how stress, movement, and recovery interact allowing better decisions around training intensity, rest, and long-term health.

Why the Environment Matters

Sonovi is intentionally private. Group sizes are limited, distractions are minimized, and the space is designed to support focus and regulation.

This environment allows coaching to be precise, responsive, and individualized so clients can train with depth rather than noise.

Sonovi exists between extremes. It is not a high-intensity gym, and it is not a passive wellness studio.

We serve individuals, small groups, and athletes seeking intelligent coaching, measurable progress, and a more sustainable relationship with performance.
